no lye is safer you can use it at home,
lye makes your hair dissolve
Lye relaxers are better they are less harsh to the hair. Why can't you just get a good blow dry and get your hair silked. To silk is to flat iron the hair after it is blow dried and then you style it.
Le a proffessional do it. they usually use lye relaxers. The no lye ones are not safer the companies just tell you that to get your money. you ever notice people who use those box perms have to get touch ups more often than people who go to the salon or get lye relaxers? its b/c the products are typically inferior. Mizani has a great mild relaxer and one for sensitive scalps too.
